State governments and the federal government work in very similar ways. No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State. The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.
They have to answer to the people and take responsibility for their mistakes. Each state has a constitution of its own, different from the federal national Constitution.
The President's treaties or appointments of officials need the Senate's approval. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. In a republic like the United States, no party can do whatever they want.
All Americans are allowed to do these things, but some have and spend more money than others, or in other ways do more in politics. The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session. All politicians have to argue, compromise, and make deals with each other to get things done.
The other house is the Senate. They are mostly provided by companies, organizations and government agencies.
